Lori Ann Myers,LCSW

As a United States combat veteran, Ms. Myers knew she wanted to continue to serve her community after her enlistment commitment. She went on to to graduate Cum Laude from University of Albany in 2012, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and her Masters in Social Work from Edinboro University in 2015. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York she is qualified to provide psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults.

Ms. Myers special interests include the integration of multiple treatment modalities to treat difficult conditions. As a clinician she places emphasis on offering the highest quality of individualized care; by helping identifying individual client needs, strengths, support system, and resources; in order to assure each individual can begin to feel supported and improve symptoms and work through environmental stressors.

Through the utilization of evidence-based treatment interventions (Motivational Interviewing, CBT, Solution-focused, Mindfulness, guided imagery, guided meditation, strength-based, person-centered, and empowerment-based approaches) clients and families are assisted in becoming their best version of themselves.

By taking a holistic approach, she recognizes the need to address the “whole” person by integrating their spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional forms of well-being into their care. She especially enjoys bringing a little bit of movement in her sessions through walk and talk therapy.

Don’t be surprised if you hear “ Let’s go for a walk!”
