Tips for a Successful Telehealth Session
Use Wi-Fi or a wired high-speed internet connection rather than cellular data.
Stay in one place during your session — movement can disrupt the connection.
Choose a quiet, private location such as an office or bedroom.
Treat telehealth sessions like in-person visits: set aside time and space to focus fully on your well-being.
You must be physically located in New York State during your appointment.
Out-of-state telehealth sessions are prohibited by NYS licensing law.
