MILITARY & VETERAN SUPPORT
WHAT WE HELP WITH
Our Approach
Whether you’re currently serving or adjusting to life after service, the weight you carry is real — and you don’t have to shoulder it alone. At You Fit Counseling, we help military members and veterans find steady ground again — whether that means managing stress between deployments, navigating reintegration, or learning to finally exhale after years of staying on alert.
Our work is built on respect, understanding, and shared culture. You don’t have to explain your MOS, decode your experiences, or clean up your language here. We already get the structure, the silence, and the need to keep moving even when you’re running on fumes.
Together, we’ll focus on practical tools that help you:
Stay grounded and focused under pressure
Reconnect with your family and team without feeling detached
Find balance in daily life without losing your edge
Whether you’re still in uniform or long out of it, this is a space to reset, rebuild, and recover — at your own pace.

SERVICES FOR MILITARY & VETERANS
-
Private, one-on-one sessions designed to help you process experiences, manage stress, and build emotional readiness. We integrate evidence-based approaches like CBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed strategies tailored to military culture and life transitions.
-
Military life impacts everyone at home. We help partners and families strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and navigate the challenges of deployment, reintegration, and shifting roles.
-
Moving between service and civilian life can feel like losing your footing. We work with you to redefine purpose, manage loss of structure, and build a meaningful next chapter — on your terms.
-
We specialize in trauma-focused therapy for those carrying invisible injuries from service. Our clinicians use proven methods to help you reclaim control, reduce hypervigilance, and find peace without having to re-live every detail.
-
From mission readiness to post-deployment adjustment, we offer tools to manage stress, sharpen focus, and maintain emotional endurance both in and out of uniform.
WHAT TO EXPECT IN SESSION
-
Your privacy is protected. What’s shared in session stays between you and your clinician — never your department, command, or employer. You deserve a space where you can speak freely and know it won’t follow you outside the room.
-
This is your time to be direct, uncensored, and real.
-
You decide what we focus on, what you share, and how fast we move. Our role is to guide, not pressure.
-
Tactical resets you can use tonight; deeper work at your pace.
INSURANCE & RATES
-
You Fit Counseling is in-network with Martin’s Point Health Care and a certified out-of-network provider for TRICARE.
If your insurance plan is considered out-of-network, you may qualify for partial reimbursement for services received. You Fit Counseling provides all required documentation (Superbill) and submits directly to your insurance carrier.
-
For clients who prefer not to use insurance, or whose plans do not cover our services, we offer a self-pay sliding scale designed to make care more accessible.
Rates are based on the type of service, session length, and household income, with options adjusted to meet individual financial circumstances. We believe cost should never be the barrier to starting care — please contact us to discuss available options. -
In compliance with the No Surprises Act, all self-pay clients receive a Good Faith Estimate before services begin. This document outlines your expected costs for the year with no hidden fees or surprise charges
-
We accept cash, debit, and major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express). Payment is due at the time of each session.
